How you do:
[/li][li]Country Boy. Despite having spent his life in the city, Adrien is attracted to the simple lifestyle of the country. He treasures the thought of a slow and easy pace compared to the energetic and constantly shifting beat to city life. In his eyes, the ideal life is the life in which he can laze his days away by the riverside fishing rather than waste his afternoons learning things that hold no importance to him. Classes are something that are easily skipped in favor of taking walks in the botanical garden or visiting the park. At this point, the only reason he hasn’t dropped out is because of his father and the soccer team though his dream of escaping Polaris for something easier and care-free will never change.
[/li][li]Family-Oriented. Growing up in Polaris there was never a lack of people but Adrien, for one reason or another, did not connect very well with those around him if they were not Francis or Sophie. The departure of his mother at such a young age is the origin of this as her abandonment created an unhealthy attachment to his sister and father that he never outgrew. To describe him as family-oriented is accurate but only to a certain degree. Starting a family of his own is certainly not a concept he considers but rather he is almost obsessed with his relatives. He would much rather remained trapped in a past without end than confront even the mere suggestion that someday Francis may fall in love with another woman and Sophie may start a family of her own. Thus far this…possessiveness, this obsession, has kept in-check but there is no telling where the limit is or what will occur once it is broken…
[/li][li] Unorganized. If one is searching for a young male that has his shit together then Adrien Bonnefoy is not the solution. In fact, Adrien would not even be considered on the list of potential candidates. He does not care for cleaning and, chances are, if his room is clean at any point it is because either Sophie or Francis got sick enough of his mess to take care of it themselves. Beyond that, once it has been thrown it will not be touched again until he absolutely needs it. He cannot even pretend that his room is an organized clutter like many others can. This lack of organization is not only prominent in the sense of cleanliness but mentally as well. Sometimes his thoughts have a tendency to wander away from the current situation and he will struggle to gather himself together. He is not stupid, per say, but he can be caught off guard easily if not kept interested.
[/li][li]Friendly. While he may not connect very well others quite like he has with Sophie and Francis (depending on the view this could be taken as either a blessing or a curse), this does not mean that he is unfriendly. Adrien adores talking to people and has been known to walk straight up to strangers that have caught his interest for the moment and initiate conversations that carry on throughout the day. He has a laid back nature to him that gives others the first impression of someone disarming and naïve. There are many people that he can certainly consider “friends” on a more shallow level even without a deeper connection. In fact, there are many people that he does consider to be his friends though his older sister will never be replaced as his best friend or even close friend. Part of this trait is what makes him excellent as his current sidejob.

You better watch how you talkin, and where you walkin
Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk
Your thing:
[/li][li]Fishing. Oddly enough, the most experience that Adiren has in the fishing expertise are carnival games in which he could fish for a rubber duck that would win him a fish. No one can quite pinpoint where this love for the sport originated from considering he has never experienced true fishing but many can agree that his fascination with the ocean as a child had something to do with it. When Adrien was younger, and even now from time-to-time, he used to set up a cardboard box in the living room and drop “fish” in that he could later catch with a pole he fashioned out of a stick and string with adhesive attached to it. He once even entertained the thought of fishing in the city’s aquarium in his later years.
[/li][li]Tuna and King Fish. While Adrien has not fished before he can certainly appreciate the taste of the prey. He prides himself on being willing to try any species of fish no matter how strange-looking or exotic just so long as it is a species of fish. Over the years though he has come to develop an especially strong preference for the tuna or king fish despite their prices. This is actually where a good deal of his allowance will go to and for the longest time he attempted to raise a few himself. As it would turn out, raising a tuna or king fish was not as simple as feeding a goldfish ever few days or so. This has not deterred him though it is important to note that if he did have a fish for a pet he would probably just end up eating it anyways.
[/li][li]Soccer. For every male there is the one sport that is his passion and for Adrien, soccer is that calling. Quite like fishing, his interest started at a young age but interestingly enough it began in the elementary school’s physical education class. What had only began as another boring segment in a class he could do without turned into a lifelong interest that has carried on into his high school life. Despite being only a sophomore he earned a position on the high school’s varsity team upon entering. In reality, his position on the soccer team is the only reason that he keeps his grades up though at a bare minimum.

I really hate to trip, but I gotta loc'-
As they grew I see myself in the pistol smoke, fool
Not your thing:
[/li][li]Chastises. If there is one thing that Adrien hates nearly as much as he hates high school it would be the act of chastising. To be scolded by anyone drives the young adolescent up the wall and pushes him into a stage of rebelliousness. Be it an argument over his grades or lack of maturity, the male will meet all of it with a cold stubbornness. At even the hint of a lecture from anyone, Francis and Sophie included, his mind almost shuts down. The words fall upon deaf ears and tears upon an insensible heart. It is impossible to try to reason with him during these hours. If he is going to grow up Adrien will have to do it at his own pace and reconciliation without the prompting or help of others.
[/li][li]City Pollution. Part of Adrien’s love for the ideal countryside relates back to his extreme dislike for smog and the general city pollution of both environment and excess number of people. There are times when the dirty air makes him feel as if he’s choking slowly to death and the people are backing him up into a corner; Polaris, in his eyes, is literally suffocating him. If he doesn’t get out soon he fears that the city will forever entrap him.
[/li][li]Intruders. Adrien does not hold a grudge against intruders in the traditional sense. When one thinks of an intruder burglars and thieves come to mind. When Adrein thinks of intruders what comes to his mind are those who threaten the style of life that he is used to in his family. In other words, the love interests of either his sister or his father are the intruders in his head. Anyone that he feels can even encroach on this territory of his becomes free game. He is not above being purposefully rude and spoiled, of blackmail and subtle threats, or selfishness and immaturity if it will drive these people back out of their lives. Scold him for his behavior but it will not change anything and the next suitor to step up will just become his next victim as always.

What you been through:
Adrien Bonneofy’s earliest memories always begin with his mother’s affection but end with her abandonment. When questioned he will admit that the first thing he can recollect from his childhood is her warm embrace and a casual kiss left upon his cheek. Pressed further on the issue though and he begins to speak of her in a past tense with the heavy suggestion that she has passed away rather than left him behind with his elder sister and father. His mother is a sensitive subject for the young man even to this day and he would prefer that others believe his mother is dead. He has found that they are more likely to leave the subject as it is after that.
Born and raised single-handedly by Francis with the help of Sophie, Adrien grew up extremely attached to the two. Even as a toddler he did not and could not adapt well to the concept of a babysitter. Just the mere mention of one would put the young male into a state of absolute panic and he would withdraw to hide either under his bed or in his closet. As he figured it, so long as he could not be found Francis could not go away for the evening. He would even go as far as to fake illness just to keep the blonde father at home. From the start this obsession was unhealthy but it was often talked down to a childhood stage of parental attachment that he would someday outgrow.
On his first day of kindergarten Adrien had to be practically pried from his father’s leg and then his sister’s hand. Following this he wasted half the day screaming his head off and the other half hiding from the teacher and her assistants. The punishments that followed were severe for a child his age and after that Adrien learned how to better hide his attachments. Life continued on as many would consider normal. He did well enough in his classes to get by the skin of his teeth and established a common group of friends. If he wanted for anything it was for simpler things that were not very expensive or particularly demanding.
Come his first year of high school, the city of Polaris drew Adrien into its darker underworld. It started simply enough with the approach of a man he often saw on his way home from school. He had stopped a few times to hold a conversation with the man and buy him a meal every now and then. When he asked the boy if he could deliver a package for him he thought nothing of it and agreed wholeheartedly. As far as he was concerned he was simply helping out a male that needed help. Only after he had brought the package to the designated location consistently was he offered payment. The natures of his deliveries were then delivered but rather than walk away Adrien considered how much easier it would be to move out to the countryside with the money. After only a few days of consideration he agreed to work for the money.
On my knees in the night
Other shit:
-- Adrien is saving up the money that he earns from his drug runs to buy a nice, little home in the countryside for his family.
-- Sophie may be his best friend but a little mouse named Sebastian is a close runner-up.
-- Sexually speaking, he has more experience than one might expect but sleeping around is not a threat to his ethics or morals.
-- Jean of Arc, Adrien’s street name, is his middle name in combination with the inspiration of his father’s heritage.
-- Adrien owns a hermit crab that he bought from the pet store named Stella.

Adrien drummed his fingers impatiently against his thigh as he stared out the classroom window. Today was a pickup day and if he was even a moment late there was no telling what kind of trouble he was in. Last time it had been a half-docked cut to his pay and another three deliveries into a much more dangerous part of town. He’d nearly been shot on the second delivery. The experience had certainly been enough to teach the Bonnefoy adolescent to not be late. Drug runs were not exactly the same thing as skipping out on a class that his father may or may not scold him for. Goodness knew he had enough trouble arguing about the worth of these classes with Francis without his knowing that drugs were the reason he skipped. At least he didn’t use them.
The sweetest sound of the school bell ringing was like heaven to his ears. He practically dumped everything into his backpack before flying out the door with a quick wave to the history teacher and nod to a few friends that he passed along the way. There was no after school practice for the soccer team today thankfully. Adrien usually worked his drug pickup schedule around his practices but sometimes Coach liked to throw in a surprise one to keep them on their toes. If he had the male would have then been forced to choose between his passion and his job. His coach had threatened to kick him off the team before if he didn’t come to more of the surprise practices.
Relief settled inside of Adrien’s head and as he pedaled off to the day’s location his mind mentally calculated how much money he had made thus far. For now he was stuck in high school but after senior year he had every intention of leaving Polaris for a much smaller and much quieter town. The more that he could save now the less he would have to worry about later on. If he was lucky enough by the time to leave came around he could afford to take Sophie and his father with him. They could live outside of the noise and with the company of one another as they always had.
He just had to keep saving up a little bit more…
